Educational Concept
in dental surgery and patient care
Overview
Ghanaati Education bridges the gap between current scientific research and actionable surgical recommendations, empowering dentists and oral surgeons to seamlessly integrate innovative methods into their daily practice. In doing so, we contribute to elevating the regenerative potential in oral surgery to a new level, ensuring optimal treatment outcomes for patients.
We offer two different programs based on your current knowledge in biological dentistry and oral surgery:
The first Level “Maxi-Residency in Biological Dentistry, Biological Surgery, and Implantology Based on Guided Open Wound Healing (GOWH)” at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, conducted in collaboration with the Academy of Medical and Oral Regeneration, developed by our founder Professor Ghanaati - and the second Level "International Online Curriculum For Biological Innovations In Oral Surgery Based On Guided Open Wound Healing (GOWH)" - an advanced program which is developed and delivered by our founder himself.
Program Content
Our hybrid program (in-person and online), with 5 modules, is designed for general practitioners and dental specialists. It provides a clear understanding of atraumatic extractions, jawbone healing, and the biological factors behind cavitation formation.
The curriculum includes detailed instruction on thorough socket debridement and decortication, socket preservation, ridge augmentation, and implantology with both bone-level and tissue-level titanium, and ceramic implants as well as soft tissue management concepts based on the principles of the Guided Open Wound Healing Concept.
Key elements include a detailed exploration of bone substitute materials, including the classification of available options, and the application of Blood Concentrates to increase patient’s own regenerative capacity.
Joint Program with Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, Boston, USA
This advanced course, designed for general dentists and specialists, provides graduates of the Maxi Residency Program with an in-depth understanding of the anatomy and biology of the jaw. These foundational concepts are crucial for performing successful regenerative surgeries related to implantology within the oral cavity and ensuring optimal patient health.
Participants will gain comprehensive insights into the processes of chronic inflammation in the alveolar ridge, the formation of cavitations, their potential link to systemic symptoms, and their treatment. The course will introduce the innovative Guided Open Wound Healing (GOWH) technique, emphasizing its biological principles and integration with modern surgical practices.
In addition to this, topics will include advanced ridge augmentation using PTFE, both alone and in combination with 3D prefabricated meshes, crestal and lateral sinus floor augmentation techniques, as well as the "All-On-Four" and "All-On-X" concepts for the atrophic maxilla and mandible.
Beyond theoretical learning, the course will feature live surgeries, showcasing novel techniques tailored to the unique anatomy of the jaw.
This course is the first to connect the latest research with practical surgical advice, equipping general dentists and specialists with the knowledge to provide optimal care for their patients. Attendees will leave with actionable insights into cutting-edge methods that are revolutionizing regenerative oral surgery related to implantology.
CE-Credits:
This course is awarded with 70 credit points, corresponding to 70 CE-hours.

Benefits Of Our Educational Concept
The classes are personally conducted by our renowed Professor Sharam Ghanaati. Through various modules, he provides students with the most innovative methods and the highest standard of teaching.
With our dedicated App, students can engage in discussions within a secure environment on a wide range of topics related to clinical cases and as a support for their studies.
With our practical approach, we transform knowledge from theory into real-world practice. Participants gain access to live-surgeries, ensuring an unparalleled learning experience.
We provide an innovative 3D animation-based tool for step-by-step learning of medical and surgical procedures, which helps oral medicine experts of all levels to understand the procedure itself, to be able to follow the step-by-step instruction and to use it as guidance tool whenever necessary.
To make learning seamlessly fit into everyday life, our modules are recorded and later made available to students. This ensures that no material is ever missed and to navigate everyday challenges with confidence.
